Tanzania....... Wildest Africa

Tanzania, in the heart of East Africa, is home to some of the most concentrated populations of wildlife in Africa. As a safari destination, Tanzania is world-famous for locations such as the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Selous, Ruaha and Kilimanjaro. The Serengeti is where 95% of the famous wildebeest migration happens where thousands of wildebeest, Thompson gazelles and zebras can be seen on the move.

Few places in the world conjure up such rich images as the magnificent peaks, valleys and plains of Northern Tanzania. The northern circuit is the most frequented by tourists for two reasons; most of the destinations are fairly close to each other and, secondly, names such as Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Kilimanjaro are all a part of this northern circuit.

Southern Tanzania offers a more remote and untouched wildlife safari experience with much quieter but the same amazing variety of wildlife and scenery. In the Selous one of the highlights is a boat safari. Ruaha is one of the most scenically and ecologically diverse locations for wildlife and for a unique combination of 'bush and beach' for the only National Park on the coast is Saadani.

In addition, Tanzania hosts an impressive bird species count in excess of 1110.
